I know I can’t be the only one who is annoyed with the spam flooding my tags. For those of you who don’t know, you CAN report these journals to tumblr and they will (hopefully) be removed.
From Tumblr’s support page (I can’t seem to link directly, but if you search “spam”, this will be the top result):
Where can I report spam, illegal content, or other Content Policy violations? Many concerns can be addressed by blocking a user so they can’t send you messages and won’t appear on your Dashboard or blog. Also, clicking the block link on an anonymous Message will permanently block that account and IP address from submitting messages to your blog. If taking those steps doesn’t help, please send us the URL of the blog that is concerning you along with the details of your concern.
My suggestion is to report those to abuse@tumblr, and then block the account so you don’t have to be bothered by it in the time it takes for tumblr to suspend the spam account. I also suggest going to the help page, loading the spam policy message, and clicking on the email link directly from there, since doing so will include other relevant information about you/your account for the support team.
